SnapPrice is a web tool at https://getsnapprice.netlify.app. You snap (or upload) a photo of a secondhand item. SnapPrice identifies it, shows a median sold-comp price from eBay sold listings, estimates list price / fees / take-home across marketplaces, and can generate a listing draft. There is no native app and no account password.
Prices on SnapPrice are estimates based on recent eBay sold comps and fee math. They are not an appraisal, not a guarantee you will sell at that price, and not financial, tax, or legal advice. Comp sets can be thin, stale, or a poor match for condition, variant, or authenticity. Always check live sold listings before you buy or price inventory. If the backend is unavailable, the homepage may fall back to a local demo database — that path is labeled Demo Mode and is not live market data.
The “median sold price” and related ranges come from eBay sold / completed listings (via SnapPrice’s eBay API use). Other marketplaces in the compare table (Depop, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, Etsy, Mercari) appear as estimated list and take-home figures using published fee rates — not as a second sold-comp feed. Vinted is named in listing drafts and the optimizer, but is not in the homepage fee table as of this date. Platform fee percentages can change; the in-app table is a snapshot.
Without paying you get, per browser (lifetime counters in localStorage, not a daily reset):
Education and most resale price guides are readable without Pro. A few guides are labeled Pro and visually gated in the page; the HTML of those tables may still be in the source. Clearing site data can reset the free counters — that is a limitation of client-side limits, not a license to scrape.
Pro is a consumer subscription at $2.99 per month, billed by Stripe. The live paywall states cancel any time / “no questions asked.” Cancel in Stripe (the Payment Link receipt / customer portal Stripe provides) or email moyecj@gmail.com. After you pay, activate Pro with the same email used at Stripe.
Pro, as shown on the site, includes unlimited price checks, unlimited listing generations, unlimited Listing Optimizer scans, bulk scan (up to 5 items), scan history (“My Scans”), and Pro price guides. Features can change; the in-app paywall is the current list.
B2B is a flat $49/month for unlimited use / unlimited staff, sold by email only (no self-serve checkout) at moyecj@gmail.com. The B2B page offers a 7-day full-access trial with no credit card required, set up over email.
You must have the right to upload the photo and any listing text. Do not upload others’ private images, child sexual abuse material, or anything illegal. Marketplace listings you choose to publish may show a seller email so buyers can mailto you.
Do not abuse the API, scrape guides in bulk, reverse-engineer Pro keys, or resell SnapPrice output as a competing appraisal service. Affiliate links to eBay may be present on sold-listing / browse buttons.
The site is a small founder-built tool. The Render backend can cold-start. We do not promise uninterrupted uptime or that every estimate will match a live sale. Use SnapPrice as a pricing aid, not as a guarantee.
